Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, boleros from the past, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos, opera, and all forms of dramatic performance. Ana began to learn how to play the piano and sing at an early age together with her mom. She was given more formal singing instruction when she reached the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, and a young professional, she was a part of various chamber groups as well as opera choruses in Guadalajara and Mexico City. When she moved into California in United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present residence in the southern part of California. She currently performs the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. The passion and love she has for art, music, and performing has her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is a previous part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform the traditional Latin American song.
