Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest within his part of the Latin mainstream. In the year 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number 8 at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia came out as his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. Following that year, Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. Later, in 2021, He sang a duet 2021 along with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was brought up in a music-oriented environment since both his mom and older brother are professional musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has said that music is an essential part of his life. He began playing the saxophone, guitar, ukulele, and piano as a young child. Although his first choice of career was to become a veterinarian His brother Julian convinced him to take lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban teacher and the end result personally discovering his talent in the field of singing changed his entire life.
